Since the software is installed on a web-server, the barcode scanner can be used with any device that supports a standard web-browser and, of course, the scanner itself. This can generally be a computer, but also the type of cash-desks that supports web browsing.

Drea asked (above) „How do you scan barcode on back of loyalty card?“ You answered „You can use any bar code reader (or just type the number manually)“. My questions is… what do I attach the barcode reader to? Into what equipment would I type the number? Is this for use with a cash register? A computer terminal? A credit card terminal? I’m confused… Help!!

Hi Steve. Yes, the amounts have to be introduced manually. It is safer this way and also it can work in paralell with any other selling system. Integration with payment systems or specific selling systems would be much more expensive. The good news is that if your POS supports a web-browser, you can operate the loyalty system on the same machine.
