Loyalty cards

Let’s say you have decided to start your own loyalty / rewards program. Not only you want your customers having access online to their accounts, but you want them to have nice loyalty cards which they can use in regular stores.

Professional looking plastic loyalty cards

There are a lot of companies which will print you very nice plastic loyalty cards. You can have your own logo, pictures and text. Cards are usually printed on both sides in full color. You can have cards with signature strip, clear cards, frosted cards, matt laminated finishing, rounded corners, wiht hologram, bar code or magnetic strip.

Prices for printed cards

Prices start at $128 for 100 cards. One thousand cards is only $368. If you ad a bar code (that’s what we recommend) it adds $20 (for hundred cards) or $50 for one thousand cards. We think having professionally printed cards is the best solution. You can have a stack of thousand cards ready and each time you want to issue a new membership card you will quickly enroll it.

Enrollment of new members

You will enroll any new members through your admin center. Just click on add new member. Scan bar code on the new card and enter email address of the new member. That’s it. The account is set up. Your member will get a confirmation email. And can do rest of the account set (and online access) later.

Print your own cards – low cost version

There is one very low cost alternative if you don’t want to spend for professional printed loyalty cards. At our admin center click on generate bar code membership cards for each member. Each member (customer) will be then able to print their own membership card directly from their account. They can print it on regular paper (or harder paper for durability) and bring the card to your store for earning/redeeming points.

Print your own cards using your own printer

You can also purchase your own card printer and make your own cads. For example you can purchase Evolis Card Printer for only $999 (closeout price) at IDWholesaler.com.

I would like to discuss more details on your loyalty card system and if it could be used online and in stores as well. Also I would like to know if each terminal could manage Independent award system at multiple chains.

    Thanking you

Yes, it is web based. Can be used online on websites or offline with cards/card readers, etc. If you need independent systems you can purchase more licenses. Otherwise all branches will be connected in one system.

If you don’t have scanners for barcodes could you manually enter the card number instead?

  7. cosmin11.00 on 01-08-2010

Yes, the barcode can be manually entered. You can also choose to operate only with e-mail addresses (which are also manually inserted)

Can you show me the confirmation email that customer receive when they redeem points ? Does this confirmation email automatically show the description details of items redeemed ?

  10. cosmin6.33 on 01-09-2010

@kelvink_59 We can implement this too, but we think it’s always useful to give your clients the means to give you feedback. It will help you in your quest to create interesting and attractive campaigns and it’s not pushing the clients to rate it (which may be annoying). It just gives them the option to rate.

@Siaw Fo Sun Rectification to my previous reply: There is an e-mail confirmation, but it was not active in the demo version. Now it is and you can check it. :) There is no detailed information about the items redeemed. There is only data identifying your order for redeeming the respective item. If our clients would be interested in having extra details, we can hardcode a different message. A customizable message may be introduced in a furure release of the software.
